Our journey began from a shared love for fashion design and a passion for aesthetics, uniting two of us (Ambika and Andrada) in a common vision. Ajay played a pivotal role in turning our dream into reality, offering unwavering belief, encouragement, and support. Inspired by his enthusiasm and fueled by our shared dreams, we embarked on an entrepreneurial journey to create a brand that marries style with consciousness.
At the moment our team is very small, formed by us, the 3 founders, and our talented tailor. The pieces we make are based on your demand, we don’t like holding big stocks. So when we say slow fashion, we do mean it. We work with artisans in India for crafting our patterns and fabric dying, while the pieces are manufactured in our small home atelier.
Choosing our brand name was a process of finding a word that truly encapsulates our vision. In “oriri,” meaning to arise, we discovered the perfect representation. The ‘A’ in L’aoriri stems from our initials—Ambika, Andrada, and Ajay—symbolizing the essence of our brand: a journey of self-empowerment, growth, and resilience embodied in every creation we offer.
